More Charges Were Added On Robbers Of The Police Station, Filling Station And Atm Bombers

The robbers at Malamulele police station and ATM bombers, Godfrey Mabunda(41) from Giyani Bambeni,  Sello Simon Sedi (42) and Tumbu Gadron Makutu (48) from De Oaks, appeared at Malamulele Magistrates' Court today for allegedly attacking and robbing the Malamulele police station on 21 November 2021.  Today the state has added more charges, as the suspects were also involved in bombing safe at SI hardware in Bolobedu.

Couple In Court For Fraud And Money Laundering

A specialist engineer, Xolela Masebeni (30) and his girlfriend, Athembile Mpani (20) appeared in the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crime Court earlier today, facing charges of theft, fraud and money laundering. Both accused were released on bail of R50 000-00 each and will be back in court on 14 March 2022 as the case was postponed for further investigations.

Former Estina Director Arrested On R37.7 Million Fraud Charges

The Pretoria Regional Court granted bail of R10 000 each to two associates of the Gupta brothers, Kamal Vasram and Saliesh Indurjeeth who are directly linked to the failed Estina project. The duo was arrested last night and appeared in court this morning. The matter has been postponed to 11 February 2022.

Liberation Struggle War Veterans Appeared In Court

The 53 liberation struggle war veterans appeared at the Pretoria Magistrates’ Court earlier today, they are currently facing a count of conspiracy to kidnapping and 26 counts of kidnapping. They were all granted bail of R500 each in October 2021.

An Alleged Serial Killer In Polokwane Abandons Bail

Themba Prince Willards Dube (36), a Zimbabwean national appeared today at Seshego Magistrates' Court for allegedly killing 7 women in and around Polokwane. He faces charges of seven counts of kidnapping, seven counts of murder and a count of being an illegal immigrant.

Parolee Convicted For Kidnapping, Rape And Murder

The High Court of South Africa: Western Cape Division convicted Jacobus Petoors on charges of kidnapping, rape and murder of an eight-year-old Tulbagh boy, a few months after his release on parole for a similar crime.

Petoors, 55, pleaded guilty to the three charges and the court convicted him immediately.  The court then rolled over the case to tomorrow, 27 January 2022, for sentencing after hearing arguments in aggravation and mitigation of sentence.

Bail Denied For Stepfather Who Raped A Minor

A 30-year-old man appeared in the Thohoyandou Magistrates Court in connection with two counts of rape, sexual assault, five counts of child abuse, as well as one of assault with intent to cause grievously bodily harm. The man from Tshitereke village in Vhembe District is alleged to have preyed on an 11-year-old boy and his mother.  The presiding officer Mukoma Maiwashe said the applicant failed to prove his exceptional circumstances and could likely be a danger and bail is denied.

Leshabane Is In Need Of Legal Representation

The High Court of South Africa: Limpopo High Court adjourned the trial involving Thabo Stanley Leshabane (57).

It is alleged that the accused hired a hitman to kill his 46-year-old wife Makoena Mabusela – Leshabane, who was shot dead together with her friend Tebogo Mphuti (35), after viewing a business property in Polokwane on 10 October 2020.
