Parents Sentenced For Killing Their Innocent Child

The Mpumalanga High Court sitting in Graskop has today sentenced Fanni Poloane (31) and Keletso Sesi Maimela (32) both from Burgersfort to twenty-five imprisonment for the murder of an eighteen-month-old girl child. This is after the pair were convicted of murder and defeating the ends of justice .

Keletso Sesi is the biological mother of the deceased and the two were in a relationship staying together at Ga-Madiseng Riba Cross in Lydenburg.

Justice Served As Accused Gets Double Life Terms For Double Murder

The High Court of South Africa; North West Division sentenced Kagiso Moeng, to two life terms for murdering his ex-girlfriend’s mother Beatrice Nkonza (62), and her nephew Angelo Nkonza (10). He was sentenced to a further 10 years for arson and 5 years for housebreaking with intent to murder. After sentencing, Moeng applied for leave to appeal but the state argued successfully against it and the court dismissed the application.

Alleged Hawks Impostors Appear In Court

Two alleged Hawks’ impostors, Stanley Ewulu (42), a Nigerian national from Sandton and Peter Molomo (38) from Pretoria West, appeared at the Pretoria Commercial Crimes Court facing charges of extortion and corruption. Ewulu is further facing a charge of being illegal in the country.  

Case Of Fraud And Money Laundering Withdrawn Against The Deceased Absa Engineer

The case against a specialist engineer Xolela Masebeni (30), was withdrawn after a death certificate was presented in the Palm Ridge Specialised Commercial Crime Court (SCCC) earlier today. Masebeni was allegedly gunned down two weeks ago while sitting at home with friends.  Masebeni's girlfriend, Athembile Mpani (20), together with Gershom Matomane (29), who was added to the charge sheet today, are the remaining accused in the matter.

Masoyi Serial Rapist Sentenced To 4 Life Terms And 59 Years Imprisonment

A 24-year-old man Siyabonga Nyalunga, of Mphatseni Trust in the district of Masoyi, has been sentenced to four life terms and 59 years imprisonment by the Mpumalanga High Court earlier today.
