LIFE SENTENCE HANDED DOWN TO BRUTAL MURDERER
Mokopane, Limpopo – The Mokopane Regional Court has sentenced Vincent Lesiba Molatudi (37) from Mshongoville village to life imprisonment for murder. His co-accused, Karabo Johannes Mabalela (31), was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

LIFE AND 45 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER AND ROBBERY
The Dundee Regional Court sentenced Mpilwenhle Dladla to life and 45 years imprisonment for murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, attempted murder, as well as unlawful possession of a firearm. He committed these offences in Malonjeni, Dundee between March 2019 and December 2020.

TWO LIFE AND EIGHT YEARS IMPRISONMENT
The Madadeni Regional Court has sentenced a 33-year-old man to a double life and eight years imprisonment for the rapes and robbery he committed in Osizweni in September 2023. The complainants were sisters aged 12 and 23 years old at the time. The complainants lived together, and the older complainant took care of her own children, as well as her siblings (including the 12-year-old complainant).

COURT DISMISSES SECTION 174 APPLICATION IN THE SENZO MEYIWA CASE
The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the judgment handed down by the Pretoria High Court today, dismissing the S174 applications brought by accused 4, Mthokozisi Maphisa, in the Senzo Meyiwa case - that the state had no case against him. The Judge found that there was prima facie evidence that needs an answer.
