The Ganyesa Magistrates’ Court postponed the case against Kitso Ben Jood(55), to 30 June 2022, for bail application. Eleven of his co-accused were granted R6000 bail and they will reappear in court on 28 July 2022, as the matter was postponed for further investigations. The twelve suspects are facing charges of kidnapping, arson and murder, of three men in Morokweng.

The High Court of South Africa; North West Division, sitting at the Ga-Rankuwa Regional Court, sentenced Odirile Figland (27), to two life terms on two counts of murder and a cumulative 85 years for other serious offences. He was convicted on two counts of murder, one of attempted murder, two of unlawful possession of a firearm, two of unlawful possession of ammunition, one of assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm and one of housebreaking with intent to commit an offence.
Man Sentenced To 25 Years For Murdering His Lover
The High Court of South Africa; North West Division, sitting at the Ga-Rankuwa Regional Court, sentenced Lesley Tsholofelo Mabalane(47), to 25 years for murder and a further 10 years for robbery with aggravating circumstances. The court ordered the sentence to run concurrently. The matter relates to an incident that happened in Mabopane in October 2017, when Mabalane went to the house of Tlhomelang Selina Mmule, who was his lover and demanded to speak to her.

A couple, Ruvanya Ramiah(31) and Ayush Rambally(32) pleaded guilty to fraud and theft respectively, in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crimes Court yesterday. Ramiah pleaded guilty to 354 counts of fraud, amounting to over R12 million, while Rambally pleaded guilty to 79 counts of theft, amounting to approximately R1.7 million.
