Some of the sentences were ordered to run concurrently, resulting in 20 years of direct imprisonment.

Man Accused Of Raping A 14-Year-Old Girl Appears In Court
The Springbok District Court has postponed the case of rape against Majid-Ali Jabbar(25), after the accused was arrested and charged with raping a 14-year-old girl, in the town of Springbok in the Northern Cape. The case was postponed for an Urdu Interpreter (the National Language of Pakistan), as well as to allow the accused to consult with his attorney for a possible bail application.

The Pretoria High Court sitting in Benoni Magistrate’s Court, sentenced Pastor Lucky Mfanivele Magagula (36), to two life terms for rape, exposing children to pornography, sexual assault, exposing his genitals to children and sexually grooming six minor children, aged 3,4,6,8,9 years old. The Judge ordered that his name be added to the national register for sexual offenders and that he be declared unfit to possess a firearm.
