TWO ACCUSED SENTENCED TO 20 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR DAMAGE AND THEFT OF ESSENTIAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Bloemfontein, Free State – The Bloemfontein Regional Court has convicted and sentenced two accused, Lefa Olifant (31) and Modise Lebuso (30) to an effective 20 years of direct imprisonment for tampering with and theft of essential infrastructure.

FOUR LIFE SENTENCES FOR RAPIST FATHER
The Eshowe Regional Court has sentenced a 41-year-old man to four terms of life imprisonment for the rape of his four minor children in the Hluhluwe area. The offences took place between 2015 and 2019, and the children were aged between two and eight years old at the time.

MAN SENTENCED AFTER HE ROBBED AND KILLED THE MAN HE HAD SEX WITH
Vredenburg, South Africa, The Vredenburg Regional Court has sentenced murderer, Wesley Snyders, to an effective 25-year direct imprisonment after he confessed that he stabbed Erlilo Byl all over his body, bludgeoned him with a rock and robbed him of his cellphone. This is after the two men had sex at the beach in Saldanha.

CORRUPT OFFICIAL GETS 10 YEARS IMPRISONMENT
The Durban Specialised Commercial Crimes Court has sentenced Nhlakanipho Wiseman Dlamini (45) to 10 years' direct imprisonment following his conviction on two counts of corruption (namely Procuring of tenders and Corrupt Activities Relating to Public Officials). He committed these offences between November 2019 and January 2020.
