Britstown, Northern Cape – The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Northern Cape welcomes the sentence of life imprisonment handed down to Nathan Olifant (46) by the Britstown Regional Court after he pleaded guilty to two counts of murder.

The Esikhaleni Regional Court has sentenced a 37-year-old man to life and 10 years imprisonment after he pleaded guilty (Section 112 Plea) to the rape and the assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm (assault GBH) of his ex-girlfriend in October 2024.

The Pietermaritzburg Specialised Commercial Crimes’ Court has sentenced Charity Moloi (43) to eight years direct imprisonment after she pleaded guilty (Section 112 Plea) to eight counts of fraud and one count of money laundering. The fraud amounted to approximately R1,1million.
