On Monday 05 May 2025, the PSL General Manager and former FIFA referee Aldrin Andile Baldwin Ncobo and his wife Salomie Twaise Ncobo appeared at Bellville Magistrates Court, facing three counts of fraud and money laundering relating to a R15m donation for school construction projects in the Eastern Cape.

The former Head of Crime Intelligence Services Richard Mdluli and his co-accused pleaded not guilty during the start of their corruption trial in the Pretoria Hight Court on 05 May 2025. Trial started with the states’ first witness taking the stand, and will continue until Friday, 09 May 2025.

NPA WELCOMES CONVICTION IN THE CASE OF THE DISAPPEARANCE OF JOSHLIN SMITH


The High Court of South Africa: Western Cape Division today convicted Jacquen Rowhan Appollis, Steveno Dumaizio van Rhyn and Racquel Chantel Smith for Trafficking in Persons for the purpose of exploitation and kidnapping of Joshlin Smith. The Court found that 6-year-old, Joshlin Smith, was sold for slavery or practices similar to slavery, following an agreement reached amongst the accused.

BOYFRIEND SENTENCED TO LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPE OF HIS GIRLFRIEND'S DAUGHTER

Limpopo, South Africa - The Morebeng Regional Court has sentenced a 33-year-old man from Botlokwa to life imprisonment for rape of a 13-year-old minor girl. The names of both the victim and the accused are withheld to protect the identity of the victim.

WOMAN SETENCED TO 30 YEARS FOR KILLING HER NEIGHBOUR'S CHILD.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the 30 years direct imprisonment sentence handed down by the Pretoria High Court sitting in Benoni to a Mozambique national residing at from Ratanda, Penina Felipe Sambo (38). This is after she pleaded guilty and was convicted of premeditated murder of 3-year-old girl, Melokuhle Ngwenya and for being illegal in the country. She was further declared unfit to possess a firearm.
