Duo Pleads Guilty To Defrauding The KZN Blind And Deaf Society

A couple, Ruvanya Ramiah(31) and Ayush Rambally(32) pleaded guilty to fraud and theft respectively, in the Durban Specialised Commercial Crimes Court yesterday. Ramiah pleaded guilty to 354 counts of fraud, amounting to over R12 million, while Rambally pleaded guilty to 79 counts of theft, amounting to approximately R1.7 million.

Men Accused Of Killing A Businessman Wandile Bozwana Convicted

A taxi boss, Vusi Reginald Mathibela (36), known as Vusi Khekhe, Sipho Patrick Hudla (40), Matamela Robert Mutapa (46) and Bongani Paul Khumalo (48), were convicted by the Pretoria High Court for killing a businessman Wandile Bozwana.   All the accused were found guilty an of premeditated murder, attempted murder, possession of a firearm and possession of ammunition

Policeman Sentenced To 15 Years For Rape

The KwaBhaca Regional Court sentenced Ntshatsheli Nogcantsi (36), to 15 years imprisonment for raping a 24-year-old woman.  The court also sentenced him to five years, for kidnapping but ordered the sentence to run concurrently with the 15-year term.

Two Men Were Sentenced To Life For Raping A 14-Year-Old Girl

BLOEMFONTEIN: Two of the three men, who raped a 14-year-old girl, were sentenced to life imprisonment each, by the Bloemfontein Sexual Offences Court. Magistrate Jan Greyvensteyn, sentenced Lerato Mahumapelo (25) and Tlogelo Mooki (23), both from Rocklands, Bloemfontein, for an incident that took place on 16 December 2017. The complainant committed suicide, while the matter was still in court.

Justice Served As A Man Sentenced To Two Life Terms For Rape And Murder

The High Court of South Africa: The Mpumalanga Division has today sentenced Nicholas Hendrick Janse Van Rensburg (40), from Komatipoort to two life terms for the rape and murder of an adult woman, Zitha Andiswa Nancy. The accused was known as a motor mechanic in the area, whilst the accused and Vuma were residing in the area where the incident happened.  On 12 October 2019, Zitha, the deceased, and the accused were at Vision Four Tavern, with Bheki Vuma and other people.

Life Imprisonment For Murder Of A Legal Practitioner

The Director of Public Prosecutions in the Gauteng Local Division, Adv. AndrewChauke, welcomed the sentence of life imprisonment that was handed down by the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng Local Division, Johannesburg on 21 June 2022, in a gender-based violence case against Kabelo Gift Rasepae, for killing his girlfriend in January 2020.
