MAN SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS’ DIRECT IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPE
Carolina, Mpumalanga – The Carolina Regional Court has sentenced Nkosinathi Ivan “Bhombas” Nkosi (33) to 15 years’ direct imprisonment for the rape of a 20-year-old woman in Badplaas. The incident occurred on 04 December 2022 at the Four Rand Tavern in Badplaas.

LIFE SENTENCE FOR RAPE OF DAUGHTER
The Nquthu Regional Court has sentenced a 41-year-old man to life imprisonment for the rape of his daughter in the Mondlo area in July 2022. The complainant was five years old at the time. The accused and the complainant lived alone together as the complainant’s mother did not live with them.

TWO MEN SENTENCED FOR ROBBERY WITH AGGRAVATING CIRCUMSTANCES IN SASOLBURG
Sasolburg, Free State – The Sasolburg Regional Court has convicted and sentenced Julius Mashea (39) and Peter Chenene (43) for robbery with aggravating circumstances, following a violent attack on a female hitchhiker in September 2020.
