BLOEMFONTEIN WOMAN CONVICTED OF CULPABLE HOMICIDE AFTER DEADLY PITBULL ATTACK
Bloemfontein – The Bloemfontein Regional Court has convicted Keabetswe Moroane (43) of culpable homicide following the tragic death of her neighbour’ s 8-year-old son, who was mauled by her Pitbull on 12 November 2022.

15 YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT FOR KIMBERLEY CBD ROBBERY
Kimberley, Northern Cape – The Kimberley Regional Court has sentenced Farook Graham (34) to 15 years of direct imprisonment for Robbery with Aggravating Circumstances, following a violent attack on a 33-year-old man in the Kimberley CBD. The robbery occurred on 1 December 2024, as the unsuspecting victim was on his way to buy groceries. Without warning, Graham and an accomplice launched a brutal assault.

MAN SENTENCED TO 25 YEARS’ IMPRISONMENT FOR DOUBLE MURDER
Tlhabane, North West – The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the sentence of 25 years of direct imprisonment handed down by the Tlhabane Regional Court to Philani Daka (31), following his conviction on two counts of murder. Daka was found guilty of the brutal killings of his girlfriend, Lebogang Mokwena (37), and her mother, Msesi Mokwena (73), at Lefaragatlha Village on 14 January 2024.

LIFE IMPRISONMENT FOR RAPIST UNCLE
The Vryheid Regional Court has sentenced a 29-year-old man to life imprisonment for the rape of his six-year-old niece in the KwaJojwana area of Paulpietersburg in August 2023. The complainant lived with her mother and brother in the same homestead with the accused, and the complainant and her brother would often go and watch TV in the accused’s room.

BOGUS ATTORNEY SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS’ DIRECT IMPRISONMENT
Rustenburg, North West – The Specialised Commercial Crime Court sitting in Rustenburg has sentenced Johannes Tebogo Motse (43) to six years of direct imprisonment following his conviction on multiple charges, including three counts of fraud, one count of theft, two counts of forgery, and two counts of uttering.
