TWO MEN SENTENCED FOR RAPE AND KIDNAPPING OF A YOUNG WOMAN
Keimoes, Northern Cape – The Regional Court sitting in Upington has convicted and sentenced To Zamile Verster (29) and Reggie April (24) for the rape and kidnapping of a 24-year-old woman from Keimoes. The sentencing was delivered today, 04 September 2025.

LIFE AND 75 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR A RAPIST COUSIN
The Empangeni Regional Court has sentenced a 24-year-old man to life imprisonment and 75 years imprisonment for the rape of his two cousins between August 2023 and January 2024. The offences took place in the Sokhulu area, and the complainants, who are sisters, were aged 16 and 19 years old at the time.

STEPFATHER SENTENCED TO FOUR LIFE TERMS FOR RAPING 10-YEAR-OLD STEPDAUGHTER
Fraserburg, Northern Cape – The Fraserburg Regional Court has convicted and sentenced Dawid Bitterbos (37) to four life terms of imprisonment for the repeated rape of his 10-year-old stepdaughter. He faced four counts of rape of a minor, prosecuted under Section 51(1) of Act 105 of 1997. The sentencing was delivered today, 04 September 2025.

LIFE SENTENCE HANDED DOWN TO BRUTAL MURDERER
Mokopane, Limpopo – The Mokopane Regional Court has sentenced Vincent Lesiba Molatudi (37) from Mshongoville village to life imprisonment for murder. His co-accused, Karabo Johannes Mabalela (31), was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

LIFE AND 45 YEARS IMPRISONMENT FOR MURDER AND ROBBERY
The Dundee Regional Court sentenced Mpilwenhle Dladla to life and 45 years imprisonment for murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, attempted murder, as well as unlawful possession of a firearm. He committed these offences in Malonjeni, Dundee between March 2019 and December 2020.
