Three In Court For Umzinto Woman’s Murder

Three suspects, Bongi Mbili, Devika Seeripat and Madodile Nkhula, have appeared in court in connection with the death of Ashrika Seeripat, in Umzinto last month. They face charges of conspiracy to commit murder and murder.

Mbili and Seeripat were granted bail of R500 and R1000 respectively, by the Court, following an opposed bail application. They will appear in court again on 22 August 2022, as their matter was adjourned, for further investigations. Nkhula appeared in court yesterday, and he was remanded into custody till 11 August 2022, for a bail application.
