Man Appeared In Court for Shooting Seven Family Members

Earlier today, Azwidohwi Enoch Ndou, a 52 year old nurse, appeared in Malamulele Magistrates' Court on charges of killing seven family members at Jimmy Jones Village in the Malamulele area On Christmas Day 25 December 2021. 

It is alleged that Ndou went on a killing spree on Saturday morning as the family members were fighting for a stand that belongs to their father.

The deceased were identified as follows:

Mpho Donald Ndou (33) years

Ndivhuwo Douglas Ndou (33) years

Portia Mabasa (37) years

Rendani Winnus Ndou, (12) years

Wanga Ndou, a 1-year-old girl

Ronewa Ndou, a 4-year-old boy

Dakalo Makondo Ndou, an 8-year-old girl, passed away on her way to the hospital.

The suspect was arrested soon after he handed himself over at Thohoyandou Police Station where he was charged with seven counts of murder.

The case was postponed to 05 January 2022 for further investigations and for the accused to get a legal representative.
