Corporate Services
The NPA has chosen the Shared Services model to provide support to the NPA components - the National Prosecution Service (NPS), Asset Forfeiture Unit (AFU), Directorate of Special Operations (DSO) or Scorpions and Supplementary Services such as Specialized Commercial Crime Unit (SCCU), Sexual Offences and Community Affairs Unit (SOCA) and Witness Protection (WP).
The objective is to focus on servicing customer needs and to concentrate resources to provide low cost, high quality CS support to multiple business partners.

Corporate Services has adopted the following Strategic Outcomes
- To assist the NPA to perform at its optimal level.
- To assist in developing a model of excellence in the public sector.
- To assist the NPA to function as a coherent integrated structure.
- To improve business partner's confidence in CS ability to deliver services.
- To assist the restructured Department of Justice and Constitutional Development to function optimally.
- To ensure optimal performance of CS.
- To identify and implement best practice mechanisms that facilitate co-ordination with strategic partners.
The Strategic Outcomes, once translated into measures or actions, will form the core of the CS business plan in general and by department. |
